Pride Month is here, and we’re proud to be celebrating and supporting the LGBTQIA+ community across Inception Group through fundraising, education, events and wellbeing initiatives.
Supporting Switchboard LGBT+ Helpline
This year, we’re fundraising across all Inception Group venues (excluding Maggie’s) for Switchboard LGBT+ Helpline, the UK’s national LGBTQIA+ support line. From 3rd June to 5th July, guests can contribute through a £1 discretionary donation added to table bills over £25. Every donation will help support the charity’s vital work, providing free, confidential support to LGBTQIA+ people across the UK. Switchboard was selected following a nomination from members of the Inception team, making this year’s partnership particularly meaningful.
Lunch & Learn with Switchboard
As part of our Pride Month programme, Inception Group recently hosted a Lunch & Learn with Bob Hughes, Partnerships Manager at Switchboard LGBT+ Helpline. The session explored more than 50 years of LGBTQIA+ history alongside the evolution of Switchboard, providing valuable insight into the charity’s work and the communities it supports. The event formed part of Inception Group’s wider commitment to promoting awareness, education and inclusion throughout Pride Month.
Pride Celebrations at Mr Fogg’s Pawnbrokers
Mr Fogg’s Pawnbrokers will once again be at the heart of Pride celebrations in Soho. On Saturday 4th July, the venue will be open from 12pm until 3am, with Pride-themed cocktails, live entertainment and celebrations throughout the day and night. Located in the heart of Soho, the venue will welcome guests looking to celebrate one of the biggest days in London’s calendar, with the bar transformed for one of the most vibrant weekends of the year. As the venue where our Pride fundraising efforts first began, Pawnbrokers continues to play a special role in our annual celebrations while helping raise awareness and support for Switchboard LGBT+ Helpline.
Building a More Supportive Workplace
We’re also proud to have partnered with Kelly’s Cause to offer a certified Mental Health First Aider qualification to managers within the LGBTQIA+ community, helping strengthen our support network across the business and further our commitment to creating an inclusive and supportive workplace.
Through fundraising, education, celebrations and workplace initiatives, we’re proud to be using Pride Month as an opportunity to support the LGBTQIA+ community, raise awareness of important causes and continue fostering an inclusive culture across Inception Group.

At the end of May, more than 60 members of the Inception Group team set off for Galway, Ireland, for our annual company trip. 🇮🇪 Bringing together venue managers, heads of department, and team members who have been with the business for five years or more, the trip was a celebration of the people whose passion, creativity, and dedication help make Inception Group what it is today.
True to Inception style, the trip was packed with unforgettable experiences and plenty of Irish charm. From exploring the vibrant streets of Galway aboard pedal-powered bikes to enjoying some of the region’s finest seafood and raising a few pints of Guinness together, the team embraced every opportunity to make the most of their time away. With great food, great company, and plenty of laughter along the way, it was the perfect chance to step away from the day-to-day and enjoy time together outside of the venues.
The trip was about more than just visiting a new destination; it was an opportunity to recognise achievements, strengthen friendships, and celebrate the incredible people behind the business. From shared adventures to memorable evenings spent together, Galway delivered another fantastic chapter in Inception Group’s annual tradition and a reminder that our greatest success will always be the team behind it. Cheers to the people behind the magic! 🍻

Jack ran in support of Kelly’s Cause Foundation, our mental health partner and a truly incredible organisation. Kelly’s Cause provides tools and training to help hospitality businesses better support mental health in the workplace, and it’s work we’re incredibly proud to champion.
Every pound Jack raised will help subsidise this vital training for businesses that might not otherwise be able to access it. We couldn’t be prouder, Jack, an amazing achievement for an amazing cause. 👏

As a part of our International Women’s Day activity, we were proud to shine a light on our partnership with The Eve Appeal, a charity doing vital work in gynaecological cancer research and awareness. 💛
We hosted a Lunch & Learn session for our salaried team at Mr Fogg’s Botanical Tavern, where the brilliant Karen Hobbs from The Eve Appeal spoke about the signs and symptoms of gynae cancers, the charity’s incredible work, and how we can all play a role in supporting the women in our lives.
It was an afternoon that was equal parts informative and inspiring and a reminder of why this partnership means so much to us.
From 1st April, we’re taking action. A discretionary £1 will be added to all bills over £25 across our venues throughout April, with every penny going directly to The Eve Appeal. We can’t wait to see what we raise together. 🌷
We’re very excited to announce a new interactive multi-game experience from Monday 20th April, tucked beneath Mr Fogg’s City Tavern in the heart of Broadgate Circle! Mr Fogg’s Games Parlour is a Victorian-inspired competitive socialising concept in London, where groups gather, rivalries form, and only one player can be crowned Top Fogg. Descend to the lower ground floor of Mr Fogg’s City Tavern and step into a richly detailed world of characterful booths, warm lamplight and the gentle hum of friendly competition. The Games Parlour is designed for groups looking for something more engaging than a standard night out, a structured yet social experience that unfolds over six rounds of play within 80 minutes, each testing a different combination of accuracy, strategy and skill.

We’re proud to announce that Inception Group took home two prestigious accolades at the inaugural Party Awards® — Gold for Best New Opening for Bunga 90, and Silver in the Best Bar Group category. The Party Awards®, created by the team at Eureka Events, launched as the first ever awards dedicated to celebrating corporate Christmas and summer parties, the events that, year after year, drive some of the biggest nights in the industry. And for its debut, Inception Group had quite the evening.
The atmosphere was electric, and by the end of the night, we had two awards to show for it. Bunga 90’s Gold win for Best New Opening speaks for itself. In a crowded shortlist of brilliant venues, the team behind London’s most talked-about opening delivered an experience that judges couldn’t overlook. It’s a testament to everyone who has poured their creativity and passion into making Bunga 90 the phenomenon it has become.
Equally, placing Silver in the Best Bar Group category, alongside some of the most established names in the business, reflects the strength of Inception Group as a whole. From Mr Fogg’s to Cahoots, Barts to Control Room B, our venues continue to set the standard for memorable, immersive experiences across London. This International Women’s Day, we brought together the incredible women of Inception Group for a moment to pause, re-connect and celebrate.
From Head Office to venue leadership, it was a chance to strengthen connections with colleagues we may not see every day and celebrate the people who help shape our company. The day began with a guided wellness session at Breath7, where the team took part in a 30 minute guided meditation followed by a restorative sound bath experience. It was a chance to slow down, reset and focus, something we rarely give ourselves time to do in a fast paced hospitality environment.
Afterwards, everyone gathered at Mr Fogg’s Botanical Tavern & Treehouse for a special team lunch, with a healthy menu curated by our Head of Catering, Michaela featuring fresh salads and desserts, alongside a few celebratory treats. To end this eventful morning, all our female employees also received goodie bags including a bottle of St Germain with miniature bottles from Moët & Chandon and sweet treats from Guylian. Moments like this are a reminder that while our industry moves quickly, taking time to recognise, support and celebrate the women behind it is just as important.

Let’s celebrate the triumph of creativity with Lucky Red’s, an enchanting cocktail crafted by Robert Capon, Head Bartender at Cahoots Postal Office, Borough.
Inspired by house parties fuelled by red wine and cola, which he later discovered to be Kalimotxo, a traditional Basque drink, Lucky Red’s evolved through Robert’s curiosity and craft. Influenced by the Mexican, Coke- based Batanga, he refined the serve with figs, cherries and cedro liqueur, lifting the wine’s rich dried fruit notes into something playful, nostalgic and beautifully balanced.
To celebrate this winning creation, Lucky Red’s will be featured on menus across all Inception Group venues for one month only (except Maggie’s & Bunga 90), with proceeds donated to a charity close to Robert’s heart. He claimed the crown in the annual Inception Group cocktail competition, proudly sponsored by Bacardi and Tequila Patrón, showcasing exceptional innovation, technical skill, and storytelling through flavour. His winning serve sets a new benchmark for mixology across the group!
