This summer, eccentric explorer Phileas Fogg will be inviting his guests to admire panoramic views of London and enjoy Hendrick’s libations whilst suspended 100 feet up in the air, as he and his trusty bar team partake in London in the Sky 2017 (19-30 July 2017).
Embracing the fresh summer’s air this year with his head firmly in the clouds, the famous adventurer will be putting his household staff to the ultimate test by asking them to resume their usual service on his magnificent flying machine constructed for the occasion. The usual setting of Mr Fogg’s, featuring all the Victorian charm that the adventurer is well-loved and recognised for, will be replaced by spectacular city-scape views populated by numerous London landmarks as guests are suspended on a floating table high above the city of London.
Guests will be invited to sit back, relax and enjoy a stunning evening complimented by a selection of Mr Fogg’s signature cocktails served upon his flying contraption. Each guest will be served two cocktails or mocktails of choice alongside a selection of nibbles. The table seats 22 guests (per sitting) with Mr Fogg’s trusty bar team serving a variety of tempting libations from the pop-up bar in the centre of the table.
The table will be suspended above Chelsea College of Arts, offering a spectacular bird’s-eye view of South London. This ambitious air-bound venture will be the second time this year that Mr Fogg has taken to the skies, as in June he also introduces the World’s First Hot Air Balloon Bar to London.
